The Reverend Gregory Scott Ward joined us in August 2007 after serving for eight years as minister of the Unitarian Universalist Metro Atlanta North (UUMAN) church. He has previously served UU congregations in the San Francisco Bay Area. and Toronto, Canada.
Rev. Ward is forty-four years old, married, a California native and lifelong Unitarian Universalist. He grew up attending the Neighborhood Unitarian Church in Pasadena and lived for a time at Camp De Benneville Pines (the Unitarian mountain camp and conference center).
He is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego where he earned an undergraduate degree in biochemistry/cellular biology and biophysics in 1987. He received his masters of divinity from the Pacific School of Religion in 1996.
Rev. Ward’s values are clear: personal growth, caring for people, building community, connecting with families, volunteering and working for social change. He is also the co-creator of a website and resources for effective intergenerational worship, another priority of his ministry. |
