Holding an Event at UUCMP
Our welcoming spaces in a beautiful, natural setting provide opportunities for all types of events. Whether you are planning a church meeting or event, or want to hold your wedding, birthday party, concert, or seminar in our building, we can offer you a space that is flexible, warm, and inviting. Our reasonable rates make planning your event affordable. Our available services give you a wide range of choices.
Spaces vary from our Sanctuary (up to 100 people) to the Sundeck (up to 20 people) or the Emerson Room (a cozy meeting space for up to 10 people). Your caterer may serve from our kitchen, your buffet can be set up on the Sundeck, and your concert can take place in our Sanctuary (with sound system, piano, and organ.) Our personnel are available to help you set up, monitor the sound system, or clean up after your event. The ministers associated with the congregation may be available for weddings, memorials, or special services. We can contact the musicians connected with our congregation to determine their availability for your function.
Our sanctuary has seating for 100 guests. The sanctuary can accommodate as many as 80 for dining at your reception. We also have a kitchen suitable for serving catered meals and an area that works well for buffet service.
Our calendar of events can help you determine if the dates and times you prefer are available. Church events have priority. All dates and times should be checked with our Congregational Administrator prior to reserving space for your event. The Administrator makes the final determination for all facilities scheduling.
